Written in his usual lighthearted and jovial tone, Alan Titchmarsh tells us how to keep our garden looking good month by month. There is a chapter for each month of the year with a short checklist and longer more detailed instructions and a good sprinkling of photos too. I have searched for a book like this for years and I don't think anyone can top this awesome resource.

This book is great as a casual read, just to browse through, as well as useful, solid information for actual gardening. Lovely pictures, too. I have come to find out that Mr.Titchmarsh is somewhat of a celebrity in the UK, which may hold sway with some people, or make them avoid this and any of his books altogether. However, I didn't know that when I checked this book out from the library a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much I wanted my own copy.
